I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm sure you've done it very well

Although the game isn't really famous, it's good to see that there are several users with programming knowledge who are willing to contribute something to the fan-community (for example the DfModActivator, DfToolbox, DreamView, now the Trainer, and perhaps some more which I don't know).

Keep up the good work!

The modding tools aren't just for "tuning" up the GUI or game's gfx, ya know There's a few parameters, which, if modified properly, might allow new features in the game. I believe there's some cheats in there!

To be honest, I can't resist a game that has Magnet's "Be with you" and Leon Willet's "The Hospital Room" on its soundtrack. Props to the makers, we're trying to push it over the limits and have more than gameplay.

Yeah, I noticed some strings in the game files that look like cheat codes. Never did work out how to activate them, though

Added a new option. Enjoy! Keep bringing new ideas, and I'll implement them. At the moment am working on finding the character coordinates and creating, based on them, a "save/load position" hack

well, after more than a year, I wanted to play once more-
but 1st time was so not fun because all the 'dying' pressure and such...
I looked for a trainer and really am happy I found one, but when I activate it (god mode for example), the game crashes as soon as I get hit.
when I try the 1-hit-ko, it crashes when I hit an enemy.
I tried it on the spider on chapter 2, I also tried it on the soldiers in the beginning of chapter 3.
now, I don't feel like playing anymore... >,>
can you please help me? why is the game crashes?
i'm playing the europe DVD version, with the original cd.
edit - oh wait, there's a "dreamfall.co.uk" printed on the back. maybe that's a british version? I bought it at Israel.

Crash Report

I'm running the US-english version of the game with the patch from Aspyre, the publisher for this region, and this trainer causes the game to crash if I, for example, enable God Mode and am subsequently attacked in the game.

I tried this trainer out because combat is the only thing I don't like about this game; it's either ridiculously easy or frustratingly difficult, I can't always find a way to avoid it, and waiting for the death fade to end is annoying. The lack of a more flexible camera can also make it hard to see what's coming after me, until it's too late.

If you need any info from me, just ask and I'll see what I can do to help.

Cool

I have the 6 CDs version in my possession along with a NO-CD patch (hate to swap CDs all the time). I believe it was made by they guys @ RELOADED.

Specifications :

[x] dreamfall.exe
[x] size = 20.0 MB (20,987,904 bytes)
[x] internal version = 1.0.0.1

I can't give you more details than that. I could update the trainer if both of you guys (Michael Elboim and Wistrik) supplied me with your version's .exe file.

Rapidshare.com or divshare.com or w.e. upload site you wish Waiting for feedback...

Alright, I re-installed the game without the Aspyr patch and installed a no-CD patch and now the trainer works. My original EXE was around 9Mb, but the Aspyr patch EXE was half that size. I don't need the patch though because it fixes a graphics issue for a video card I don't use. My observed glitches are caused by other game code and data; things like spelling errors, text not matching speech, getting stuck in sneak mode after a cutscene, breaking a cutscene by hiding too soon, etc.

Some observations about the trainer:

- If I don't have a CD in the drive when I start Dreamfall, the trainer complains constantly about "No Disk" until I put a CD in the drive. This defeats the purpose of running a no-CD patch. It doesn't matter if I start the trainer before or after starting Dreamfall; as long as Dreamfall is in memory, the trainer complains if there's no CD in the drive.

- The trainer beeps when an option is toggled, but doesn't show the toggle state (on or off). It's not a critical thing, but it'd be nice to see if the option is On or Off, if that's not too much work.

Thanks for making combat less of an annoyance. No more stress in the subterranean tunnels! No more beatings from Vinnie! (I usually avoid fighting him because he's difficult for me to beat.) The game just got even better.

A few things :

1. The trainer never complains about a CD It's the game .exe that does it, perhaps not a good fix after all o_O

2. Might beep, I don't recall. Ah yes, I have the cable unplugged, so no beeps for me

3. If game's not present in memory, your option won't get enabled. So, run the trainer or game in w.e. order, but activate the options once you're in-game

4. Will add check boxes so you see which option is ON/OFF

Expect an update soon.

P.S. : Go ahead and patch the game. Then send me the .exe I'll update it for your version...
