I wouldn't mind giving them a try if you're willing to share them.

I don't mean to ignore your posts. There's an awful ot of noise in here, and I visit maybe once or twice a day, but find I'm responding less and less. Incidentally, nice work. Is there any chance you're going to do more of these? If so, please rebump this thread when you're ready, and give us a link to a nice collection. Oblivion and all those other games get endless mod packs... why shouldn't we?

*hoping in vain to see April in something more like her clothing from TLJ*
[and yes, I know that's not possible without mucking with the meshes... just saying]

I like all your mods, especially Zoë's new costum and underwear.
It would be nice, if could share them with us

Maybe you can give April her Talisman of Balance back, I really missed it in the game (I know that would be very complicated, but why not dream off it )

Very cool. I'm playing the game for a second time so I would love to use the new skins. Any chance of removing April's rediculas cape?

Haha, I'm sorry Nothsa. I was noticing it all the time and REALLY got on my nerves.

As for removing the cape, giving April her talisman or changing her clothes, I'll see what I can do, but don't expect anything - I'm not a modeler.

Lee in Limbo: Yes, I will make more mods, for sure. It's one of my favorite things to do!

I guess I'm taking requests now, as well. Not that I will be doing them all, if I get any, but I will try to do as many as possible.

I'll be uploading these mods ASAP, when the readmes and bat-files are done. Stay tuned!

There, I have uploaded all the mods now. Enjoy, and please provide comments, suggestions etc.

Wow - they look really good (from the previews, haven't had a chance to test in-game yet). Especially impressed with the de-gothed April and the pre-release Zoe costume.

Knew I spoke (posted) too soon. The installation went okay (no error messages, "INJECTED_[filename].pak" pak files created. But nothing seems to have changed in-game. Zoe still has her pink top in Casablanca in Chapter 2, April still looks gothic as of Chapter 6. Maybe I've done something wrong....hmmm...will try again later...

I think you forgot to backup, and remove the INJECTED part. Or maybe I've done something wrong. I double checked for any errors though, so I wouldn't know what's wrong. Try again and then come back if the error persists.

I am currently working on a little tool to make installing mods a little easier:

http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/tmp/...06-06-05-1.png

So in case anybody finds skribbs current install instructions too scarry that problem should be solved in a few days.

Any special feature wishes for the tool?

PS: skribb, if you do more mods use one of the newer extraction tools that will give you proper filenames instead of names, the new tool will work with filenames and no longer with file ids.

Wow, that app looks awesome! I'll be sure to grab the new extractor as well. I guess your new program will render mine obsolete, but I don't care

Special features, eh? That depends on what's already there

And call be stupid but, where's the new version? Is it the one from may 30?

Current features are very simple, there is a mods/ directory into which you place a subdirectory () with a text file, an icon and a directory called dreamfall/. The dreamfall/ directory contains all the files you want to insert with the mod. The dfmodactivator (need a better name...) then simply searches for mods and allows you to activate some and disable others, backuping of .paks is done automatically and which paks contain a file is also detected automatically, so a single file will get automatically inserted into multiple paks when needed, thats it.

Additional features I could think of for the future would be:

- download mods directly from the web
- direct handling of .zip files, so that one doesn't has to extract them
- sort mods hierachically (group all cloths mods, all translation mods, etc.)
- some drag&drop support

Anything else needed?

Latest one should be this:

Nope! Not at all. Seems like a very solid app.

Concerning the name, I like to play with the fact that Dreamfall has the word "dream" in it. So something like Lucid Dreams. My Dream Injector was originally called Dirty Dreams but that sounded a bit weird.

One more thing, when I extracted common.pak with the new tools, I couldn't find the Newport texture for Zoë's head, and the normal zoë head was called zoe_head_newport1_texture.png.
