Thanks for the update. The off/on indicators work great, and thanks for making it silent.
A few notes for your 'issues/bugs' section of the readme.
- In any situation that would lead to Zoë being instantly killed, having god mode enabled will prevent the death animation from being played. Just reload as usual and try again. As you note, the only time a person can use this to their advantage is in the Dreamcore.
- I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but a public walkthrough suggests you can attack and defeat the first jailer legitimately ("never get hit twice") and still escape. The smoke bomb would simply go unused and would be removed from inventory during an area transition, as the game does with other items that are no longer necessary.
- One-hit-kill mode can mess up April's ambush of the Azadi near the beginning of the game because this fight is scripted and because one-hit-kill mode only affects the player-controlled character. Each character (Chawan, Brynne, April) gets to fight two Azadi soldiers, then the cutscene completes. With one-hit-kill mode enabled, April can kill both of her targets before Chawan and Brynne finish their first targets. Because the script takes over as soon as April finishes her combat, this can result in one or two Azadi soldiers standing around inactive for the remainder of the cutscene. It doesn't break anything, but it looks odd.
I took out the warrior grubber in the tunnels and that really made exploration easier. Hiding in this game isn't as easy as it could be (character tends to get stuck in hide mode), so I'm glad I don't have to rely on it there. Killing the warrior breaks the script so no more creatures are spawned, thus allowing the player to explore the tunnels at their leisure. Much more enjoyable, in my opinion.
Thanks again for making this trainer.
