It may be paced slower than most modern games, but Dreamfall's rich storytelling and deep characters make it one of the year's best.
    Overall Score: 4.5/5.

    (the review is spoiler-free btw)
    Just two quotes from there:

"Zoe Castillo, a likable, pretty young woman from 23rd century Casablanca, stars for the bulk of the game, but you'll spend significant time playing as two other characters as well. In the interests of avoiding spoilers we won't name names, but one of them will probably ring a bell to fans of The Longest Journey."

Just think what a (positive) shock we would have if we had no idea you`ll meet April in the game nad found it out while playing! ... ..... .. ... Too bad we kinda found that out at the very beginning....

"The length is a letdown, not only because we'd like to see much, much more from Tornquist, but it's also going to be tough to wait another six years for the loose ends to be tied up."
....I was soo looking forward to the (litteraly) longest journey..... Remember the lenght of TLJ... That was niiiice........ What the heck; I`ll just play it one hour a day then I hopefully won`t finish it so soon

I guess the biggest thing is the confusion... even the fact that when getting answers from Funcom that they don't even know... I have replies back from several different people, most saying they don't know what the answer is, but others contradicting what the situation is.

    So, it's not too inspiring.

I've been used to releases such as Diablo II and Starcraft where things were tight, and everyone knew what day it was coming out on, what form it was in, and the company had a huge list of what platforms and combinations had been tried successfully... etc, etc...

... and now, well, it's a long way from excited.

Puzzles are indeed a joke. Even myself, which i am playing adventures mostly for story and less for puzzles (i am not even ashamed to use walkthroughs ), i agree that Dreamfall is more an interactive movie then a game.

I like to see ingame videos, but preferably after i struggled a little to get them (searching for clues or simply cursing the not-so-clear walkthrough) instead of getting a movie every 2 minutes.

Don't tell them I stole their name for my login! LOL.
Quoted from another thread, I'm currently downloading the episode

EDIT: I just watched most of it, these guys are absolutely hilarious, no wait, HISTERICAL, some great Monty Python humour thrown between (and a bit within) console games reviews, priceless! Also, this episode featured two very fair (IMHO) reviews of Dreamfall and Oblivion (I couldn't judge the other ones since I don't know those games, besides, I'm mostly a pc user, with a playstation 2.. just in case...)
