View Full Version : New TLJ.s site

07-26-2003, 02:38 PM
I'm working on a TLJ.s site. It will contain almost every information there is on the game. I've finished the layout and I registered a cjb.net address. The rest will come later this week.

You can have a look at it at:

RaMa it looks very nice. I do a little bit of webdesign myself, so Im sure uve put in a lot of work in it. I cant wait to see what will be put on ur site :)

07-26-2003, 04:24 PM
Thanks! I'm quite proud of it myself, to be frank :p.

07-28-2003, 06:11 PM
Nice site. Now, if you could put it somewhere that didn't try install stuff on my computer each time I viewed it... :p

07-28-2003, 09:24 PM
Lol! That's the damn cjb.net address :p. You can also visit the site at http://home.wanadoo.nl/goule/TLJs, but I don't think that's a bit too long, don't ya think ? ;)

Woohooohooo!!! RaMa!! good job!!
I love the decorate... maybe you should do it like TLJ's old site... I think the french version still got that... hmm... here-
I like that decorate! but yours is really good! too much dark... anyway I'll enter every day! hoping for somthing to pop up there!

07-29-2003, 10:06 AM
Hehe. Thnx :).

I choose the darkness because TLJ.s is still for the most part a mystery, just like when you're in the dark and you can't see everything. I choose Lady Alvane's floor because that's where the storytelling begins and ends.

07-30-2003, 07:58 AM
Wow! Another TLJ site, and it looks good!
Anyway I did not know that woman in the start and the end of the game was called Lady Alvane!

07-30-2003, 10:52 AM
Have you finished the game yet? Because she doesn't tell her name at the beginning, but later.

08-04-2003, 10:51 PM
I've updated the site with one preview, three interviews and alot of quotes. If you're interested, go and have a look (http://www.tljs.cjb.net).

Nice! how about a fanfic corner?
I'll write some stories!

08-06-2003, 10:46 AM
Maybe. But you have to understand it's not exactly a fansite. It's a site that's there to give you info about TLJ.s. Besides, I think The Divide is a better place to send in TLJ fanfic than any other site :).

I think it's beautiful! Nice to have a TLJ.S news site, great job RaMa :)

08-06-2003, 07:13 PM
Thnx! (Wheehow! Another post! ;))

08-06-2003, 10:44 PM
And here is another post for you RaMa...:)
I like the look of your site, it's nice and moody :D (although I do agree with Cz :p )
All those bits about the new TLJ made me drool ;), hope it's going to be as good as Ragnar says it will.
It's good to have updates about it withouth having to surf the net for ages... so, thanks and keep it up

I haven't finished the game yet, but many tells that the old lady is April.

www.dot.tk offers free domains too, they have one small pop up, but most people have popup stoppers nowadays (or you can easily find one on the net) so it is a bit better. maybe.

a really cool site!

08-09-2003, 10:02 AM
Yeah, maybe I'll try that. Thnx :).

08-09-2003, 09:19 PM
Excellent site, RaMa! :)

I really like the layout. I assume you have put a lot of time and effort and creativity. Well Done!

Keep up the good work. I agree with Cz though - I got that auto download but I just cancelled it. ;)

The site is beautiful and its wonderful for someone to provide a site that has the latest news on the upcoming sequel to TLJ. There was an article that I lost track of - interview with Ragnar Tornquist - talks about facial expressions, characters crying, smiling, etc. That I was most interested in.

"The game will be in real-time 3D, but worries that the game will feature an action/adventure-style view from behind can be laid to rest. The camera will be put in fixed positions, or set on a path for certain shots. Also expect the camera to play an important role during dialogues. 摘very dialogue is going to be scripted in terms of camera movements. You値l have facial expressions. You値l get closer to the character. You値l see people blink, tears running down their eyes遥ou値l see wrinkles, you値l see smiles. Their hair will be moving."

You provided me with that article again on your site.

Thank you. :)

The real thanks for that article goes to Draikin of www.minstrum.net. She saved the article on her site before the link died. I do this too now, cause its a great idea to prevent articles from getting lost.

And thanks for the compliments :).

Btw, you can access the site now via www.tljs.tk (it has only one pop-up).

08-09-2003, 09:50 PM
But it must frustrate a lot mof people that Minstrum.net is in French,:(

08-09-2003, 10:14 PM
Minstrum.net is for people who speak french, my site is for people who speak english.

08-09-2003, 11:52 PM
Ah, but I speak, read and write both.:)

08-10-2003, 12:01 AM
Then you're blesses with the ability to be able to read both the sites! Haleluha! ;) (did I spell that right, btw?)

08-10-2003, 05:43 AM
I despise your site AND YOU! DEMON! :P

Nice work, as always. Keep up the good work and all of that ;)

08-10-2003, 12:08 PM
Lol. Thnx Ez ;).

Not really misspelled, "haleluia" is an alternate and more acceptable one depending on your main language.:)

Great site RaMa. It's obvious the hard work that you put into it. I'll be checking that daily.:)

08-13-2003, 08:33 AM
So it's your IP I keep seeing in the site's statistics! :)

08-13-2003, 11:09 AM
I've done some research and found out some very interesting stuff about TLJ.s' storyline. You can read it at my site (http://www.tljs.tk). Here's the direct link:

RaMa- I've registered and received a password, then changed it, in your new site (which is very cool by the way). But...everytime I try to post a thread, I am not able to under my name...so I posted one as a guest-"Not allowed." It also said I am not allowed to change my profile now...:( I thought it was operator error (me) but I tried a few times. It says my user name on top for one screen, but when I click on another, it changes me to a guest.

08-15-2003, 08:39 AM
Let's continue this on the TLJ.s forums, okay? :)

08-16-2003, 01:28 AM
Done! it was operator error.....mine

08-16-2003, 09:18 AM
I'm glad you figured it out :).

08-17-2003, 01:57 AM

08-19-2003, 05:08 PM
What E-mail?

08-19-2003, 07:56 PM
Oh. Someone sent me an e-mail with a piece of fanart. I said he/she could better post it at the Divide, but I'd probably post his/her next artwork, which is about TLJ.s.
