Hello,

I have been playing AO for the past year. I have since I learned of Funcom been interested in TLJ, However, I have yet to purchase it. I am not partial to puzzle games (like Myst) But at times I do enjoy them. Is TLJ a close relation (concept and idea) to the Myst type of game? or is it more? and if so, How so?

I have read the basic plot of the story and it reminds me of Anthony Piers' Aprentice Adept series. Is it like that? if so, I am well on my way of getting the game.

any input is welcome (besides comments about me play AO)

Its much more. The puzzles are mostly non tedious. But what is great is the story and the charachters. This game probably has the best charachters ever in a computer game, and the story is also great. The game has a great sense of humor also. You can download the demo, but you can save time by just buying the game.

It has more in common with the old LucasArts and Sierra adventure games than it does with Myst. It's much more character- and story-focused instead of being entirely based on puzzles the way Myst was. The gameplay has more in common with the first three Monkey Island games than it does with Myst.

Yeah it's like most of the great Lucas Arts or Sierra adventure game... There's joke, great and sometime funny dialog...

And to me, a game where you see the caracther you're playing with it's... so much better... It gives me the feeling of watching a movie where the story is advancing... by my fault :)

Tlj is a must to buy, and i don't like Myst... But I was always glad to spend time playing TLJ.

It's not really comparable. Myst has been done byééé crazy guy ! It's so... deep... Tlj is much more simple, but not easy... It's the wanted middle.
