where can i get savedgames?

There is a problem with the third cd from my english edition of the longest journey, as it crashes the computer everytime a video clip begins to play. Does anyone know where i can safely download saved games? Other than from http://www.geocities.com/journeysaves/
as these saves are so far apart i miss a lot of the gameplay.

I'm not so sure about saved games available on the net ....though I just thought maybe you could try this ...

...enable the 'quick-time' (can't remember the exact phrase used sorry ;) ) or sth like that in the options when you start the game ...this would enable you to press Esc to skip through the movies or dialogue ....

...maybe you could try pressing skipping through that spoilt movie this way? Could help ....not too sure though ...
