Lost voice acting totally today.

Hey all,
I am not the most techincal person, but can find anything that you might need if you can tell me where to look. I loaded Dreamfall last night, and played for about 3 hours. Everything was working great. When I started it up today, I still have all the sound effects except for voices. I did check under options to make sure they were still turned up. I have restarted the game and the computer to no effect. Any idea which way I need to turn next?

Hm.. do you have an Creative sound card? With EAX enabled ?

I have an ATI sb400 - AC'97 Audio Controller - PCI according to Everest. Is that what you were wanting to know?

I have an ATI SB400 - AC'97 Audio Controller - PCI, at least according to EVEREST home edition that is it. :) Does that help?

Have you checked to make sure both the regular volume control AND Wave volume is turned up in Windows?

Have you tried switching between different audio settings in Dreamfall (dolby surround etc)?

It's likely something has happened with your Windows settings one way or another.
