DreamFall fails to load video or anything

Yea i got Dreamfall and when i installed it and tried to run it the process starts but the game does not load, i cannot stop the process and it disrupts my system

3.0Ghz
1gig ram
Ati Readon X700

DirectX 9.0(c) installed

yea it still fails, though it does check to see if i have the disc loaded, tells me if i have the wrong one, also i cannot manually shut the process down

So the copy protection reports that you have the wrong disc inserted? The right one would be CD1, so make sure you didn't forget changing from CD6.

Also make sure any CD emulation tool is disabled.

Did you actually manage to install the game, or do you get this error when you're running the installer?

Is the first CD inserted into the same drive from which you installed? Sometimes programs/games tie themselves to a specific drive

Do you have any drive emulation programs running? If so, you might need to disable the virtual drives.

Is this a European version? If so, it probably uses Starforce copy protection which doesn't always work on all drives. Download this tool and use it to check what copy protection your discs use:
